To evade most of the headaches that can come with interior painting brand new interior walls, look over these guidelines for surface preparation, primer application and top-coat application.
Wall and ceiling surfaces must be 100% dry before primer or interior painting is applied. Use a damp cloth to get rid of loose dust and smut left from the drywall installation. If the drywall surface is wet, dusty or dirty, the paint could not seal, bond, and or flatten as it is supposed to.
It is highly recommended that the ambient temperature is not that low for interior painting. Cold temperatures can cause the paint to coalesce and bond. If it is too cold, the polymer particles don't have enough energy to move together.
